Adventure Awaits!

Adventure awaits for the Kline family! Duty calls, and we are moving! This coming April the Klines will be heading west- FAR west!

ALOHA friends! The Air Force is moving us to Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam in Oahu, Hawaii.

We are so thrilled for this next adventure. While it is so far from home we know we will enjoy lots of visitors, and we also look forward to longer stays in Alabama when visiting home. We are looking forward to a much slower pace Air Force life. Livie June is very excited about joining hula dance classes, drinking unlimited dole whips, learning how to baby surf (surely it's a thing), and sporting her bikini year around. It is truly going to be an adventure, and it's one that we will not be taking for granted.

We have enjoyed our almost six years here in Charleston, SC, and we have been so blessed with such amazing friends (military and non). Air Force friends always know that a "move day" is coming, and we've witnessed several friends come and go, but it never makes it easier. Charleston was Steven's first assignment, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. It's where we built our first home together, experienced heartbreak and loss together, grew stronger together, and brought home the sweetest, blonde-haired, blue eyed baby girl. If I could rip her nursery from the house and take it with us I swear I would. I am already a basket case thinking about closing her door one last time. Charleston has been our home away from home. It has given us our family away from family, and because of that we will forever remain grateful for this beautiful city. We have met some amazing forever friends here that we know will remain friends for a lifetime.

We ask that you begin praying for us throughout the next 6+ months as we prepare for our big move. Steven will be deploying soon, and if all goes well with timing he is due back just before Christmas. We weren't taking a chance on decorating for our last Christmas in our Charleston home so... our tree has been up since September. Haha! I told Steven that I feel like the holidays are rushed every year with visiting family, traveling, etc. so this year we decided we were going to enjoy our Christmas tree!.... and yes I do have gifts wrapped up already! #dontjudgeme We also ask that you pray for our families and friends that will be adjusting to our move also. Livie June's nieces and nephews are already missing her, and we aren't even moved yet. And to express how much we will miss them cannot even begin to be put into words. It will be very different not being able to hop in our car and make the 8 hour haul home to Bama for a short weekend.

During the few months after Christmas we'll be marking off our Charleston bucket list and fitting in as much time with family and friends as possible. Lots of planning to come also... listing our house, preparing for movers, etc. This move will be very stressful in terms of getting there, traveling with a dog and a cat, getting on the waitlist for on-base housing, waiting for that house on base (it could take anywhere from 1-6 months!), and of course being so far from our families. This will also be Livie June's first move, and we pray that she will adjust well. We are very excited! Please come visit us (once we have a house)!!
